TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION:

The Pasidium 2000 solution is fully scaleable from 20 users upwards and runs on proven Internet platforms which can be progressively scaled upwards based on your requirements. Details are as follows:

• Microsoft Option Pack 4

The following Option Pack 4 components will need to be installed prior to installing Pasidium 2000.

    :: IIS - The following components of IIS must be selected:

            > Common Files

            > FrontPage Server Extensions

            > SMTP Service

            > World Wide Web Server

    :: Indexing Service

    :: Microsoft Transaction Server

    :: Microsoft Data Access Components

• Microsoft NT 4 Service Pack 4 or above

This prerequisite updates a number of key components of the operating system. Service Pack 5 is recommended, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site.

• Microsoft ADSI 2.5

This lightweight component from Microsoft is required for the Pasidium authentication services.

• Database Platform

Pasidium 2000 supports two database options:

Option 1 - MSDE (Freely Distributable)

MSDE is a freely distributable cut-down version of Microsoft SQL Server. It has the same powerful engine as Microsoft SQL Server, but does not include some of the more advanced features such as replication. MSDE can be upgraded to Microsoft SQL Server at any time.

Option 2 - Microsoft SQL Server

Pasidium 2000 supports Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 on Windows NT 4.
