• Web Based Intuitive Application

The application has been designed to run in an Internet browser. All functionality can be accessed this way. The system requires no special training for users to access the application. If a user has experience accessing the Internet they will be able to use Pasidium 2000.

• Company News

The system allows administrative users to enter news stories into the system. These appear on the Pasidium 2000 home page and are available to all users. They can be given effective and expiry dates. This enables a news item to be entered prior to it being visible and to facilitate automatic removal on expiry.

• Favorites

Users can select pages they access frequently as favorites that appear on their individual Pasidium 2000 home page. They have the advantage of being available from any machine where the user chooses to access Pasidium.

• Recent Documents

The recent documents list provides easy access to documents that have recently been accessed by a user. This is specific to each user of Pasidium. The number of recent items that are tracked is configurable.

• User Profiles

Each user has a profile. This contains information such as contact numbers, department etc. They can also enter their own descriptive text. This is useful when a user wishes to pursue further contact following interaction in Pasidium.

• User Groups & Roles

Users created by the administrator can be allocated group membership. The aids administration allowing groups to be given roles on documents.

• What's New Profile

This provides users with a snapshot of new content that has been added or updated in Pasidium each time they visit the home page.

• Security

Security is integrated into every component in the Pasidium 2000 application. Access roles can be allocated on any document, folder etc. This allows users to be created as readers, users, controllers or Administrators, and determines whether they should be notified of changes.
